An age-old tradition, cast plaques have been a standard for commemoration and recognition literally for centuries. Yet just in my lifetime, hand set type has replaced by photographic typographical reproduction which meant that logos and anyone's typestyle preferences could be reproduced in bronze perfectly. This photographic advancement in castings (bronze and aluminum) is called "Imagecast" by Matthews, is a natural "next step" for the industry.

Overall, my first experience at master planning for donor recognition was smooth and I enjoyed the thoughtful process and experience between both the client and my new company. It is clear after completing this signature process that Catawba Valley Medical Center is in full control now to maximize their efforts in soliciting and, later in recognizing donors. As testament, at least in part, to their success of getting recognition planning completed early, they have secured 20% of their campaign goals and the support of key medical groups in their community. In this case "good-timing" does equal "money".

The onsite review, presented here, is actually a powerfully effective way for a fundraiser to manage the approval of concepts while also building excitement among all who see it. From this point on, everyone who leaves this meeting, from the President to construction site coordinator, has a beautiful mental image of major donors about to be honored in a way uniquely theirs.

So at this moment, my/our ideas for their public recognition program are about to be implemented. It’s my very favorite meeting. Images within a client’s imagination of what he thought he needed are now being replaced by the reality of our creativity And our creativity has been applied to the realism of an actual built environment of architectural spaces, client’s messaging requirements and over-arching strict budgets. This one image conjures a lot of pride in me.

HOT!" This just in from Memphis. A destination for Philanthropy at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. I told my team that I had been in this industry for longer than I wanted to count anymore. Never been a presentation of the power of giving, a culture of philanthropy, like this before. Interactive, playful, motivating and uplifting." Nothing like this anywhere else....unique, easy to use, architecturally appropriate, based upon recognition program standards and guidelines and built within budget. I am very proud of our work to tie Best Practices in Donor Recognition and total creativity together so well. It's the epitome of "Think Before You Thank".
