Robin and I arrived at the conference today to find eight exhibitors specific to donor recognition, out of a total of only 29! Obviously, donor recognition is a “must have” commodity, no matter what the economy. The tougher the times get, the more important it is to have good resources at hand.

Of those eight . . . we are the only firm focused on donor recognition policy, program planning and coordinating stewardship with crucial marketing messages.

Of those eight, seven are design/build manufacturers: Forsythe, Inc., MD Designs, Mitchell Associates, Partners In Recognition, Presentation Design Group, Recognition Awards, Stobbe Design. Tomorrow we will lead a roundtable discussion about the pros and cons of digital media in donor recognition. We appreciate the contributions made by several of the vendors here, as well as others. And we look forward to the participation of the fundraisers who will bring their “stories from the field”.
